What can I possibly do..........

i am at a loss.

i've finally realized what my heart has been questioning for many years...'the truth', quite possibly/probably...is not.

meanwhile..........i have a wife, and child........both of which are firmly in the grasp of my former beliefs.

U R in the right place!!! Hang out and read, read and read some more. U R in the first stage to FREEDOM. The journey can be a bit emotional but it's worth it. I once thought I was alone too, but I found that the folks on this sight have alot of differences but one thing in common...they are some REAL THINKERS!!!!

Check out the Ray Franz book, Crisis of Conscience...it's mind blowing!!!

Also check out the site sixscreensofthewatchtower.com...it's alittle spooky but the information will give you some insight until you get that book.

article on settlement not in our paper, just the online version

i went through our morning paper, twice, but the article is not there.

it is online though, but you have to have the link.

the front page has no information to get you there.

Here in middle Tennessee the local news ran a short part on the silent lamb press report. That was Thursday and on Friday I herd one of the radio stations mention the settlements in their news run down. Both of the reports were short and straight to the point but er'little bit helps. Be blessed!

What Freedoms Do You Enjoy Now That You're Not A Witness?

the watchtower scoffs at "apostates" because they want their "so-called freedom".

not practicing this religion does give you a lot of freedom and normalcy.

what freedoms do you cherish now?

More family time, enjoying my kids participating in sports, dance or whatever without having to feel guilty. The freedom to THINK BIG and dream!!! The feeling of going to Church because I truly want to not because I need to make Jehovah happy. The freedom to check out this board without feeling like demons are creepin through my computer!!!

What did you think of "new light"?

you kind of get to a point where you know all the answers when you are a jw.

you don't really have to research much more because its the same stuff they present over and over again.

"jehovah's reminders" but i kind of looked forward to new light.

As a witness the whole New Light thing is like living in the movie the Matrix where everything you see is not reallity. But at the end of the day it's the story of the Wizzard of Oz and the wizzard (the organization) is just one big fake. New Light + Old Light =NO Light!!!

i saw a new wt at my fathers house this weekend.

it was titled something like the return of jesus, what does it mean to you?

now i was always taught that jesus returned in 1914. so this would be the third coming of jesus.

I saw a new WT at my fathers house this weekend. It was titled something like THE RETURN OF JESUS, WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU?

Now I was always taught that Jesus returned in 1914. So this would be the third coming of Jesus. Is this just a transistional period of the WT trying to water down the BIG A and blend in with main stream Christianity...More Jesus.
